'Rare' White Bat Found in Cave Habitat at Denver Zoo
Denver Zoo made an unusual discovery recently after keepers set up a camera at a feeding station in its bat cave exhibit – a rare white bat.
The zoo said the bat, seen in this video, was a Seba’s short-tailed bat with leucism. Leucism, the zoo said, is distinguished from albinism, since it involves only a partial loss of pigmentation.
