Ratings: NBC’s ‘Chicago’ Crossover Ties ‘Masked Singer’-Led Fox Atop Key Demo

Sweet (home), Chicago. On Wednesday, NBC caught up to Fox in the important adults 18-49 demographic ratings with its mega-crossover of “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago PD.”

NBC beat the “Masked Singer”-led broadcast network — and everyone else too — in terms of total viewers.

Much further down the Nielsen sheets, “Nancy Drew” declined in its second week on The CW.

NBC and Fox tied for first in ratings, both with a 1.4 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. NBC was first in total viewers with an average of 8.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. Fox was third with 4.8 million total viewers.

For NBC, the “Chicago Fire” start to the crossover at 8 p.m. landed a 1.3/6 and 8.1 million viewers. At 9, the “Chicago Med” portion posted a 1.4/7 and 8.8 million viewers. “Chicago PD” finished it off at 10 to a 1.4/7 and 8.6 million viewers.

For Fox, “The Masked Singer” at 8 put up a 2.1/10 and 7.2 million viewers. At 9, “Almost Family” had a 0.7/3 and 2.5 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 0.9/4 and second in viewers with 5 million. “Survivor” at 8 earned a 1.4/7 and 6.8 million viewers. At 9, “SEAL Team” got a 0.7/3 and 4.5 million viewers. “S.W.A.T.” at 10 received a 0.5/3 and 3.6 million viewers.

ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/4 and in viewers with 3.4 million. “The Goldbergs” at 8 had a 1.0/5 and 4.2 million viewers. “Schooled” at 8:30 got a 0.8/4 and 3.4 million viewers. At 9, “Modern Family” received a 1.0/5 and 4.2 million viewers. “Single Parents” at 9:30 closed out the comedy block with a 0.7/3 and 2.8 million viewers. Drama “Stumptown” at 10 finished primetime to a 0.6/3 and 2.8 million viewers.

Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.5/2. Telemundo and Univision tied for fifth in total viewers, both with 1.317 million.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 823,000. “Riverdale” at 8 had a 0.2/1 and 832,000 viewers. At 9, “Nancy Drew” drew a 0.2/1 and 814,000 viewers.
