Ravens C Bradley Bozeman, RB Ty’Son Williams will play vs. Bengals

Ravens starting center Bradley Bozeman will play in Sunday’s AFC North opener against the Cincinnati Bengals, returning to action just a week after suffering a minor back injury.

Bozeman was knocked out of the Ravens’ win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the third quarter and missed practice Wednesday. But he returned to practice Thursday and Friday as a limited participant and was listed as questionable on the injury report.

With running back Latavius Murray (ankle) ruled out of Sunday’s game, running back Ty’Son Williams returned to the game-day roster. A healthy scratch in two of the Ravens’ three previous games, Williams will join Devonta Freeman and Le’Veon Bell in the team’s backfield.

Starting wide receiver Sammy Watkins (thigh) will also miss his second straight game. Defensive tackle Broderick Washington, outside linebacker Jaylon Ferguson and rookie safety Ar’Darius Washington are healthy scratches.

Bengals defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin will miss Sunday’s game with an illness. Wide receiver Mike Thomas, outside linebacker Darius Hodge and cornerback Nick McCloud are healthy scratches.
