Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey returns to practice on Tuesday

The Baltimore Ravens have seen their cornerback depth get tested early on in training camp, with a multitude of injuries hitting the unit over the course of the last week. Marlon Humphrey, Brandon Stephens and Jalyn Armour-Davis all missing some sort of time, not to mention Marcus Peters still recovering from a torn ACL.

Despite the amount of players missing time at the position, Baltimore got good news on Tuesday as Marlon Humphrey returned to practice after missing the two sessions. His return was a welcome sight for the team, although head coach John Harbaugh did mention the star as one of the players who won’t play in their Week 1 preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

Humphrey had an up-and-down season in 2021 performance wise and ended up missing the final few weeks of the year after suffering a torn pectoral muscle against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13. He is looking to bounce back in 2022 and re-establish his reputation around the league as a top-three cornerback in the NFL.
