Raw: BPD announces arrest in killing of Izaiah Carter
Baltimore police on Monday announced an arrest in the fatal shooting of a teenager. Izaiah Carter, 16, was shot on March 6 in the Joseph Lee Playfields area near Patterson High school, where he was student. Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison said authorities in Texas helped to apprehend Roger Alvarado-Mendoza, 23, before he tried to flee the country. He was previously arrested in Baltimore in 2018 and he was previously arrested in Florida, Harrison said.
