The Rays are looking to snap a four-game losing streak that matches a season high when they take on the Mariners tonight in Seattle; first pitch is at 10:10.

Lefty Josh Fleming will be on the mound, as the Rays look for him to continue his impressive season, keyed on throwing strikes and getting weak contact. The Mariners are starting right-hander Logan Gilbert, an Orlando-area native and Stetson product.

Lefty-swinging second baseman Brandon Lowe surprisingly was not in the lineup, though manager Kevin Cash said he will be back Sunday when the Mariners are starting lefty Marco Gonzales, who has somewhat neutral splits.

With Lowe out, Joey Wendle is getting his first action of the season at second base, which has been his primary position. He has split his time between shortstop and third base.

Also, the Rays added right-hander Drew Rasmussen to their bullpen with a promotion from Durham, taking the roster spot opened when infielder Mike Brosseau was optioned to Triple-A.
