Catcher Mike Zunino is back in the Rays’ lineup tonight after leaving Tuesday’s game early due and then missing the next two due to left biceps tendinitis.

First baseman Ji-Man Choi was out of the lineup for a third straight game due to a slightly hyper extended left elbow but is feeling better and available off the bench as the Rays open a three-game series against the Twins.

Veteran Corey Kluber will be on the mound for the Rays. Dylan Bundy, who is off to a sensational start, will take the hill for the Twins.

There are a number of familiar faces among the Twins, including manager Rocco Baldelli, a former Rays player and coach, along with pitchers Chris Archer (who on Saturday will start against the Rays for the first time), Joe Ryan (the former top prospect who was traded in the Nelson Cruz deal) and Emilio Pagan (who was traded from the Rays to San Diego the night of the 2020 Fan Fest).

Manager Kevin Cash said Ryan Yarbrough (groin tightness) threw well Thursday for Triple-A Durham. Though no final decision has been made, the Rays are leaning toward having him join rotation and pitch next for them, which would seem likely on Tuesday.
