Rayvon Griffith, Class of 2023 guard at Taft High School, reveals his 10 college finalists

Rayvon Griffith, a Class of 2023 shooting guard/wing for the Taft High School Senators, shared Saturday night via Twitter that his top 10 schools include the Alabama Crimson Tide, Arizona State Sun Devils, Cincinnati Bearcats, Kansas Jayhawks, Louisville Cardinals, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Penn State Nittany Lions, South Carolina Gamecocks and UCLA Bruins.

Griffith said UC offered him in Sept. 2020.

Griffith ranks 25th in the 2023 ESPN 25 - 24 spots ahead of AAU teammate Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James.

This season, Griffith is averaging 18 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game through seven games - per cmacstats.com.

As a sophomore, Griffith was the Southwest District Division III player of the year - averaging 23.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game and leading Taft to a regional title and state Final Four.
