At the same moment Ohio and the rest of the Eastern Time Zone celebrated the start of 2023 with the Times Square ball drop, Buckeyes football fans lamented a missed Peach Bowl field goal that sealed Georgia's 42-41 win and ended Ohio State's College Football Playoff championship hopes.
