Reactions: How Twitter responded to Cucho Hernandez's Columbus Crew debut

Cucho Hernandez made his presence known in his first game with the Crew.

Taking the field for the first time when the Crew took on the Chicago Fire Saturday, the 23-year-old Pereira, Colombia, native found himself in a scoring spot late, taking a pass from Luis Diaz on the run.

Pitched to join the Crew as its primary striker, Hernandez showed what he could do when Diaz gave him that chance, forcing Chicago Fire goalkeeper Gaga Slonina up toward him and floating the ball over his head for the game-winning score in the 83rd minute of a 3-2 comeback victory.
