The United States Men's National Team (USMNT) on Wednesday beat Morocco 3-0 in a friendly at TQL Stadium in preparation for the 2022 World Cup.

A poetic first touch in the 26th minute from USMNT forward Christian Pulisic got the score tally started, and the U.S. never looked back.

A perfectly executed pass to forward Brenden Aaronson from Pulisic, who carefully and quickly found the right amount of separation in Morocco's defense to set up his teammate, allowed the USMNT to snag the lead and Aaronson to become the third American ever to score against Morocco.

It was again Pulisic who received the standing ovation in the 65th minute when he was subbed off the field after drawing a foul in the penalty area and handing it off to his former U17 teammate and current USMNT forward Haji Wright.

Pulisic had put another teammate in the sweet spot, this time with a debut goal, his leadership shining through and through.

USMNT is one of only 29 teams that already punched its ticket to Qatar, following a 2-0 loss to Costa Rica on March 30. They are in Group B and set to play in the fourth match of day one (Nov. 21) against the currently vacant European qualifier.
