May 22—Tower Health

Brian Lahmann, MD, has been appointed the physician leader for emergency medicine at Tower Health. Lahmann will continue his duties as chairman of the department of emergency medicine at Reading Hospital. His role will be expanded to include clinical oversight for system initiatives regarding emergency services throughout Tower Health.

Lahmann started with Tower Health in 2009 as an emergency medicine physician at Reading Hospital. He was appointed vice chairman of the department of emergency medicine in 2019 and chairman in 2020, and serves as the associate designated institutional official for Reading Hospital's graduate medical education activities.

Lahmann received his bachelor's degree in business administration and master's degree in hospital and health administration from Xavier University. He received his doctorate in Medicine from Temple University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in emergency medicine at Cooper University Hospital, where he served as chief resident. He also serves as medical director for Geigertown Fire Quick Response Service and supports the Afghan Sponsor Circle of Greater Reading.

EnerSys

Andi Funk, executive vice president and chief financial officer of EnerSys, will receive Alvernia University's 2022 Bernardine Legacy Award, which recognizes Alvernia alumnae and friends who have distinguished themselves in their professional careers while also serving as a leader and role model to women. Funk will receive the award June 1, during the fourth annual Alvernia Women's Council luncheon.

Prior to her role at EnerSys, Funk was the chief executive officer and chief financial officer and treasurer of Cambridge-Lee Industries LLC. She also serves on the board of directors of Crown Holdings and Touchpoint Inc. At EnerSys, she jointly initiated the Women in Leadership (WiL) initiative.

Funk also served as a member Alvernia's president advisory council 2015-2016 executive in residence and a mentor for the Reading Collegiate Scholars Program. She is a trustee for Caron Treatment Centers, the investment committee chair and board member for the Berks Chamber of Commerce, board member for the Berks Business Education Coalition and leader of the PeaceTrust for Safe Berks.

Manufacturers' Association

Mike Granby, of York was named president and Jonathan Crothers of Lancaster was named vice president of the board of directors of the Manufacturers' Association, effective this month. The Association is the voice of manufacturing for hundreds of member and non-member organizations in southcentral PA and northern Md.

Granby, president of Granby Consulting, is a dual citizen of both the United States and United Kingdom. He is the former president of Red Lion Controls, a manufacturing technology enterprise in York, and served as managing director and founder of Paradigm Controls Ltd. and as technical director of Overseer Systems Ltd. of Chesterfield England.

Crothers, is continuous improvement coordinator and a 14-year employee of Stoner Inc. of Lancaster. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Penn State University and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. In his role at Stoner, he is responsible for efficiency improvement and is a member of the strategy deployment team. Crothers previously served as a research and development scientist for eight years and holds Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Certifications.

Tompkins Financial

Alyssa Fontaine has been named chief risk officer for Tompkins Financial, adding to her current role as executive vice president and general counsel. In her expanded role, Fontaine will continue to oversee the company's legal and corporate governance functions, while also leading the corporate risk management team.

Fontaine joined Tompkins in 2016. Prior to joining Tompkins, she was a partner with Harris Beach PLLC, where she focused on bank regulatory compliance and securities matters, and worked closely with Tompkins as a corporate law partner.

Fontaine is a graduate of Cornell University Law School and Brown University.

Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers

Robert Mineo, the financing assistance program director at Lehigh University SBDC, was named the 2022 State Star for Pennsylvania Small Business Development Centers (PASBDC). Mineo first joined the Pennsylvania SBDC as a graduate student at Lehigh University, and then joined the team full-time after graduation.

Each year, America's Small Business Development Center (ASBDC) Network recognizes top performers nationwide at its annual conference. A special presentation honoring the ASBDC 2022 State Stars will be held during the national conference in September.

Fromm

Abraham Rodriguez has been named operations manager at Fromm, an independent electrical distributor in the Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, Rodriquez will be responsible for overseeing all distribution logistics and process improvement across the company's eight locations.

Rodriguez has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Moravian University.
