May 29—Spotts Insurance Group

Spotts Insurance Group of Wyomissing has been awarded the Personal Lines All-Star Award from Nationwide Insurance, which is given annually to the 25 top producing agencies in the United States.

All-Star agencies outpace their peers in annual performance with Nationwide, including the size of their book of business, year-over-year growth and overall sales. Spotts Insurance Group was ranked 16 out of approximately 12,000 agencies in the country.

Jeffrey Spotts, president of Spotts Insurance Group and Donna Spotts, senior vice president, attended a national conference in Key Biscayne, Fla, where Spotts Insurance Group was recognized. The agency has nine locations throughout Berks, Schuylkill, Carbon, Lehigh and Chester counties.

MADJ Marketing

Berks County-based marketing and brand success agency, MADJ Marketing (MADJ), announces the addition of two new key staff members to its client services team. Tim Eckert has assumed the role of account director and Olivia Massaro has been appointed to the new role of marketing and communications manager.

Eckert will oversee existing and newly signed major and strategic accounts (in healthcare, healthcare education, manufacturing, non-profit, and more) as well as some internal and external community initiatives. Most recently, he was the director of marketing and business development for a prominent real estate services company in Central Pennsylvania where he was responsible for creating and implementing business development strategies, as well as the establishment of new business partner relationships. Previously, he worked in the healthcare industry where he managed marketing and communications for several major healthcare organizations in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Eckert is a graduate of Saint Joseph's University and master's degree recipient from Millersville University.

Massaro will focus on client relations, project and production management, copywriting, social media administration, internal brand development, and internal/external community initiatives. She brings more than four years of professional experience in the marketing, hospitality, and administrative fields and joins the MADJ team most recently from a digital marketing agency in Kutztown.

Massaro graduated from Penn State University, Berks Campus, with a Bachelor of Science in business and a minor in entrepreneurship.

Mid Penn Bancorp Inc.

Mid Penn Bancorp Inc., the parent company of Mid Penn Bank has appointed Allison Johnson as senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 11. In her role, Johnson reports directly to Mid Penn President and CEO Rori Ritrievi and oversees all aspects of Mid Penn's financial strategy and performance.

Johnson most recently served as the chief financial officer of Spirit of Texas Bank in Conroe, Texas. Johnson joined Spirit of Texas Bank in 2016. Previously, she served as SEC reporting manager at Florida Community Bank, N.A., fund accountant for Sun Capital Partners, LLC, and auditor with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Johnson is a certified public accountant and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Florida and a Master of Accounting from Florida State University.

Jordan Space has been named executive vice president and chief corporate development officer for Mid Penn Bancorp, effective April 18. In his role, Space assists the CEO in the development of new lines of business across the corporation, including the establishment of a Private Bank, to increase market share and strengthen Mid Penn's brand presence throughout the state.

Most recently, Space served as market president of the Eastern Pennsylvania market for S&T Bank. Prior to that, he held the position of chief lending officer at Integrity Bank and began his career in the commercial and private banking division of M&T Bank Corp.

Space serves on multiple committees as well as the Board of Trustees of Penn Medicine/Lancaster General Health and the Economic Development Executive Leadership Team for the Lancaster City Alliance. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization. Space graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in finance and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
