Reading Eagle: Scholarships, May 15, 2022

May 15—The S.P.A.R.K.S. Foundation, a science education nonprofit headquartered in Berks

County, recently awarding of six college scholarships of $1,000 each.

The scholarships are for high school seniors who have been accepted to a college or university and whose intended major is in an area of the sciences.

They are:

—Colin Kowalski, Sparta, N.J., majoring in neuroscience at Dartmouth College.

—Hannah Super, Aliquippa, Pa., Majoring in sustainable architecture at Bowling Green State University.

—Kayleigh Simpson, Sparta, N.J., majoring in industrial engineering/computer science at Virginia Tech.

—Ella Harrison, West Chester, Pa., majoring in biological sciences at Ohio State University.

—Kennadi Lakins, Crothersville, Ind., majoring in kinesiology and integrative physiology at

Hanover College.

—Marissa Crea, Aliquippa, Pa., majoring in pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh.
