While travelers from Lexington may not have found a deal for their Memorial Day weekend trip, there are flights available in the coming weeks from the Blue Grass Airport for less than $200.

Auto club AA projected 3.4 million Americans would fly to their Memorial Day destinations, and top spots like Orlando, New York City and Las Vegas saw a 40% increase in airfare, according to booking data from the company.

There are ways to avoid letting high prices keep you from enjoying a summer vacation this year. If you have a flexible schedule, you may be able to take a reasonably priced trip.

We’ve compared ticket prices out of Blue Grass Airport and found seven cheap flights to top destinations in July and August that cost between $90 to $187. All flights are round-trip economy and prices are current as of Monday afternoon, though subject to change. You should check with airlines to determine baggage fees.

Cheap flights less than $200 out of Lexington, KY

Lexington (LEX) to Myrtle Beach, S.C. (MYR) — $90

More than 17 million people visit Myrtle Beach every year, according to the Myrtle Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Vacationers flock to the city for its 60 miles of beaches, 2,000 restaurants and abundance of golf and min-golf courses.
