Ready to dish at Bakersfield Brunch Fest

Oct. 10—Bottomless brunch bites and beverage samples? This must be Bakersfield Brunch Fest, which returns Saturday to Stramler Park.

Admission includes bottomless brunch bites from almost 30 local restaurants and businesses along with a variety of beverage bars serving wine, beer, spirits and hard seltzers as well as nonalcoholic options.

Food vendors include Blaze Pizza, Brazas Cocina Latinoamericana, Countryside Market, Devorame Mexican Grill, Flame & Skewers, Fresco Meat Market, Fresco Mexican Grill, Golden Corral, Harrington House, Huckleberry's, Jerry's Pizza & Pub, KC Steakhouse, La Rosa Fruit Bars & Ice Cream, Lettuce Eat, Mami Ana's, Mr. Clamato, Nov's Soul Spot, Pasta Bowls, Slice of Italy, Sonder, Sweet Peas, Taco Bros, Tacos La Villa, Tastries, The BLVD, The Well, Tina Marie's Cafe and Who Loves Bacon.

Enjoy beverages from the mimosa station as well as participants Tiki-Ko, Lengthwise Brewing, Temblor Brewing Co., Great Change Brewing, BarrelHouse Brewing, Nutrl Vodka Seltzer, Figueroa Mountain Brewing, Stella Artois, 805, Dos Equis and Dos Equis micheladas and margaritas, Ace Cider and many more.

Nonalcoholic options include Essentia Water, C20 Coconut Water Black Rifle Coffee, Ghost Energy, Ryse Anergy, Alani Nu and Nesquik.

The festival will also feature a gaming area, retail vendors and a photo backdrop. Music will be provides by NSA.

A panel of judges will also sample the offerings and award honors in five categories: best brunch, best creative creation, best hangover brunch, best sweet treat and best brunch beverage.

Bakersfield Brunch Fest will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Stramler Park, 4003 Chester Ave.

Tickets are $75 (plus fees), which includes unlimited brunch tastings and allotted beverage tastings in advance or $80 (plus fees) the day of the event. VIP tickets are $100 (plus fees) and include separate front gate entrance, private beverage sampling with additional light brunch offerings and private air-conditioned restrooms.
