Easter Sunday is around the corner and many restaurants in Connecticut are breaking out their holiday menus.

There is no shortage of choices if you plan on going out. Many spots around Greater Hartford are offering brunch with mouth-watering options like mushroom risotto, lamb chops, bacon wrapped scallops and strawberry rhubarb cobbler.

Plan on having guests over? A few different restaurants are offering Easter packages to bring home with you. Skip out on the cooking and dig in to some delicious barbecue, sriracha pineapple glazed ham or red snapper.

Here are the top choices for your Easter fix this year:

Bear’s Smokehouse in South Windsor, Hartford, New Haven, and Windsor

If you are looking to skip out on having to cook this Easter, Bear’s has got you covered.

They are offering an Easter Feast, complete with a whole smoked spiral ham, mac and cheese, mashed red potatoes, roasted carrots, smoked vegetable orzo salad, cornbread and a bottle of Bear’s BBQ sauce. Smaller parties can order apps like spinach and artichoke dip, deviled eggs, Kansas city meatballs, smoked white bean hummus and meats by the pound like pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket.

Top if off with a Lyman Orchard pie and have a happy Easter.

Pond House Cafe in West Hartford

Tickets are on sale at Pound House Cafe for their yearly Easter Brunch.

Starting at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 9, diners can expect more than a few delicious options to choose from:

Fire x Forge is offering their Easter Celebration Package: a choice between sriracha pineapple glazed ham, butterflied whole herb grilled half chicken, or impossible meatloaf.

Each comes with a slew of sides: buttermilk smashed potatoes, rosemary cheddar biscuits, roasted spring vegetables, spring arugula salad and carrot cake. The whole meal serves 4-6 people at $125 if you plan on having a cozier Easter Sunday.

The Capital Grille in Hartford

The Capital Grille is offering Chef-prepared Brunch Specials for Easter Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Guests will get to dine on options like Lobster Frittata with butter poached lobster tails, 14-ounce Bone-In Dry Aged NY Strip and Eggs, 8-ounce Center Cut Filet Mignon with White Cheddar Hash Browns and Specialty Blueberry Bread.

Artisan West Hartford

Artisan is bringing an incredible, three-course Easter meal this year. It begins with a starter: Artisan chowder, tuna tartare, endive chikory salad, crab cake “a la plancha,” prosciutto and black mission figs, and even more to choose from.

Next up is your entree. You have got gnocchi and morels, sea scallops and grits, herb crusted halibut, scottish salmon, crispy duck confit, grilled lamb chops, and angus New York steak “au poivre.”

End the meal with a delicious dessert: valrhona chocolate cheesecake, pineapple carrot cake, spring berry pavlova, or a chocolate brownie sundae.

Pricing is $85 per person and $45 for young adults.

Shell and Bones in New Haven

If you’re looking for a finer Easter meal, Shell and Bones has you covered.

They have just announced their Easter Sunday specials menu. Start off with a Ginger Collins cocktail: Belvedere ginger zest vodka with lemon and soda. They will also have bottles of Domaine Mittnacht Riesling to enjoy.

Follow it up with some venison tartare or fava bean hummus, then sink your teeth into a rack of lamb or red snapper.

Finish up with a strawberry rhubarb cobbler complete with white chocolate gelato and candied walnuts or a squash cake with chili blood orange cream cheese frosting.

Soulbaila in Hartford
