Ready for the holidays? Pentatonix is announcing a December Christmas show in Des Moines
A cappella group Pentatonix gets Des Moines in the holiday spirit with a stop at Wells Fargo Arena, 233 Center St. in Des Moines, with their A Christmas Spectacular! 2022 Tour. The 22-stop tour starts Nov. 17 in Oakland, California, following the release of the band’s sixth holiday album, “Holidays Around the World,” on Oct. 28.
Pentatonix got its start on the NBC series “The Sing-Off,” and grew in popularity through YouTube videos of a mix of pop cover songs, holiday standards and their own songs.
Season 21 winners of “The Voice,” Girl Named Tom, will open the show.
The Pentatonix show starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 8.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. on Hy-VeeTix.com or Wells Fargo Arena Ticket Office.
