Southwest Ohio (Cincinnati and Dayton):

Columbus

  • Sunny 95 (94.7 FM).

When do radio stations start playing Christmas music?

Some stations like to get the jump and launch their Christmas music in early November, while others wait until a later date, typically after Thanksgiving.

For example, if you tune into Star 93.3 in Cincinnati today, you'll already be greeted with Christmas music. It began playing holiday tunes Nov. 1.

Other stations, such as Sunny 95, wait until their traditional start date, which is after Thanksgiving.
