Get ready to shake it, country fans: Luke Bryan is coming to the California Mid-State Fair this summer.

The country music star and “American Idol” host will headline a concert July 23 in the Paso Robles fair’s Chumash Grandstand Arena, fair organizers announced Monday.

Bryan, whose songs include “Play it Again,” “Kick the Dust Up” and “That’s My Kind of Night,” has released 30 No. 1 hits, sold 13 million albums and garnered nearly 20 billion worldwide streams during his career, according to a fair news release.

This will be Bryan’s second appearance at the Mid-State Fair. He previously preformed for a sold-out crowd there in 2018.

His opening act has not yet been announced.

Tickets for the show cost $50 to $175, and go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, according to the release.

Tickets can be purchased on the California Mid-State Fair’s website, MidStateFair.com.

Other big-name music acts coming to the Mid-State Fair this year include Tim McGraw, Lauren Daigle, Parker McCollum and Los Tucanes De Tijuana. The fair’s popular Evening of Music and Wine event will feature Styx.

The 2023 California Mid-State Fair runs July 19 through July 30 at the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles.

This year’s theme is “Shake, Rattle & Roll!”
