Along with happening on the "Third Saturday in October," the Tennessee vs. Alabama football game has another storied tradition Vols fans have been waiting years to partake in: the victory cigar.
One of the biggest games of the college football season is going down in Knoxville on Saturday, and there's a lot on the line, as the Volunteers have not beaten the Crimson Tide since 2006.
For years, Alabama players and fans have had a monopoly on this smoky tradition. But with both teams ranked in the top ten, could this be the weekend everything changes?

If the Vols win, can we smoke cigars inside Neyland?
Tobacco use is prohibited by the team, and both Neyland Stadium and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville campus are smoke-free. But that hasn't stopped Alabama fans from smoking victory cigars in the past.

Although UT Athletics won't comment on whether the no-smoking policy will be enforced at Neyland Stadium this weekend, Vols fans are set on blowing victory in the face of Alabama fans. Some fans have even been holding on to their cigars throughout Tennessee's long losing streak.
Planning to defy the rules and bring a cigar into the stadium? Here are a few ideas for how to sneak in your stogie.
Fit one in a small clutch purse
Hide it in a ponytail or tall hat
Stick it inside your shoe
Place it in your back pocket and cover it with a shirt
Tape it to the stick of a pompom
Put it in the pockets of your checkered overalls
Perform a magic trick and make it "disappear" to impress security
Hide it up your sleeve
Place it in a hot dog bun
Wear it as a fake mustache
If you're worried about getting caught, you can always enjoy a victory cigar at home or at a smoke-friendly environment.
