Get ready to ride in the 44th annual Toys 4 Tots Ride on the Emerald Coast

FORT WALTON BEACH — The holiday season is upon us, and to embrace in the spirt of giving and goodwill toward others, the Emerald Coast Harley Owners Group Chapter #3605, sponsored by Emerald Coast Harley-Davidson (ECHD,) is set to take to the streets of Okaloosa County for the 44th annual Toys 4 Tots Ride on the Emerald Coast on Sunday, Nov. 19.

All proceeds from the event will be given to the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center and Children in Crisis.

Those who own a motorcycle are encouraged to decorate their bikes in the holiday spirit.

The entry fee is $10 per rider, along with a new toy or gift card. Registration for the event begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Emerald Coast Harley-Davidson parking lot, 788 Beal Parkway NW.

At 11 a.m. sharp, the ride will begin from ECHD and end at the Niceville Mullet Festival site.

If you don't own a motorcycle, you can join the riders at the Mullet Festival site with your toy donation, monetary donation or gift card.

Residents also can drop off toys at either ECHD or the Winn-Dixie located on Beal Parkway.

According to Adam Babcock, who spearheads the event on behalf of the chapter, the event at the Mullet Festival site is expected to begin at 12 p.m. and last until 2:30 p.m.

Once visitors arrive at the festival grounds, they can participate in a car and truck show, prize drawings, bike decoration contest, 50/50 raffle, live music and food trucks.
