Construction of Solea Wellen Park, an adult rental community, is expected to begin this summer, with the first apartments completed by next summer.

Wellen Park’s residential and lifestyle choices continue to expand with the introduction of Soléa Wellen Park, a 55-and-older rental community in Venice developed by Sparrow Partners. The community will offer 204 one- and two-bedroom apartments on West Villages Parkway in the Playmore District.

The apartments have open-concept floor plans, with chef-inspired kitchens equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, full-size washers and dryers, bathrooms with oversized vanities and walk-in showers in 678 square feet to 1,285 square feet under air.

Soléa Wellen Park, Sparrow’s first Florida development, will offer eight floor plans, maintenance-free living and private amenities, an active social calendar and events designed to enhance friendship, wellness and a sense of community.

The community will feature a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 24-hour fitness center, a resort pool with sun deck, bocce and pickleball courts, a coffee bar, business center with 24-hour access, craft rooms and a presentation kitchen for cooking classes. The pet-friendly community will also feature a fenced dog park.

A full-time activity director will coordinate daily resident socials, happy hours, weekly fitness classes and more.

Construction is expected to begin this summer with the clubhouse and first apartments completed in late July or early August 2023.
