Real Estate Magnate Drops $38 Million on Brentwood and Montecito Estates
Franck Ruimy has been on a real estate roll over the past year, inking two residential deals totaling nearly $40 million in and around Los Angeles. In April, the founder and CEO of Arizona-based Silver Creek Development ā and amateur driver on the Ferrari Challenge North America circuit ā tendered just over $22 million for custom digs in the L.A. neighborhood of Brentwood. And three months later, records reveal Ruimy also doled out $15.8 million for a stately Mediterranean-style mansion in Santa Barbara Countyās posh Montecito enclave.
Hidden away behind gates and a wall crowned by mature trees, at the end of a curving driveway that empties out at a motorcourt and an attached three-car garage, Ruimyās newly acquired Brentwood home rests on almost an acre of land. Custom built way back in 1985, the white wood-sided structure boasts six bedrooms and nine baths in almost 9,000 square of colorfully hued living space overlooking canyon vistas.

Among the highlights are a formal dining room dressed in cobalt blue, plus an all-white kitchen accented by an eggshell-blue ceiling and outfitted with an oversized eat-in island, high-end appliances and a built-in wine cooler. An adjacent fireside family room has floor-to-ceiling glass doors spilling out to a spacious fireside pavilion ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining.
A snazzy master retreat offers a showroom-style closet with a built-in window seat and a luxe marble bath equipped with a freestanding soaking tub, and elsewhere in the house is a teal-hued media room, an executive office and an attractive wood-paneled den/game room sporting a wet bar. Outdoors, the backyard hosts a sprawling grassy lawn spotlighted by a pool and spa, along with a cozy fire-pit area; and thereās also a detached two-bedroom, two-bath guest house that has a full gym and kitchen.
