REAL ESTATE PEOPLE: Ian Black agent earns commercial investment designation

Doug Sullivan, of Sarasota-based Ian Black Real Estate, recently earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member from the CCIM Institute.

Sullivan joins six other brokers in the firm who have earned the CCIM. CCIM designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate.

To earn CCIM designation, professionals must complete advanced coursework in financial and market analysis and demonstrate extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. They must also pass rigorous exams.

Sullivan also recently earned the Certified Business Intermediary designation, identifying him as an experienced business broker, according to the International Business Brokers Association. This credential allows Ian Black Real Estate to offer business broker services in-house when clients seek to sell both their commercial real estate and business.

Sullivan joined Ian Black Real Estate in 2019, bringing more than 30 years of retail experience and project development leadership.

Of note, he founded Stonewood Holdings, the parent company for Stonewood Grill & Tavern and Peach Valley Café and served as the president and CEO from its inception through the development of 18 Stonewood Grill and four Peach Valley Café locations, with consolidated revenue of $57 million.

Wendy Egan has joined the Siesta Key office of Coldwell Banker Realty.

As an affiliated agent, Egan will provide residential real estate services in Sarasota, as well as the surrounding communities of Siesta Key, Lakewood Ranch, Longboat Key, Bradenton and Venice.

Egan has been active in numerous organizations, including Sarasota Yacht Club, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and Youth INC, and supporting local organizations such as Selby Gardens, Forty Carrots Family Center, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium and Goodwill Manasota.

Mette Milland has joined the Schemmel Soda Group, multimillion-dollar producers based in Premier Sotheby’s International Realty's offices in downtown Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch Main Street.

Milland has specialized in the Sarasota and Tampa Bay markets. She has extensive sales experience and is skilled in all facets of relocation, having purchased and sold several properties, in the United States and in Europe.

Originally from Denmark, she moved to Sarasota in 2014.

After graduating from the Danish Business School in international marketing and economy, Milland held several senior executive positions in the mobile phone industry, among others as the CEO of a large chain of mobile phone stores in Denmark and as the CCO of a large international service provider.

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, based in Naples, has appointed Paige Good to its leadership team as global adviser concierge.

She will be responsible for leading and managing the onboarding process for the company’s new sales associates.

Good previously served as a sales associate at Premier Sotheby’s Park Shore sales gallery. She has over two decades of industry experience and business expertise.
