Michael “Mike” Brown has joined Re/Max Platinum Realty as an associate in the Wellen Park office.

Brown moved to Venice from Atlanta, where he owned an architectural visualization company.

Creating three-dimensional images of proposed architectural designs, Brown has brought the ideas and dreams of his clients to life for more than 30 years – from the creation of photorealistic renderings of high-rises in Pakistan to virtual walk-throughs of museums in Atlanta.As one of the pioneers in virtual reality, Brown worked with renowned clients such as IBM, Coca-Cola, Ernst and Young, RaceTrac and a large selection of architects, as well as residential and commercial real estate developers.

DeFuria

Richard “Rich” DeFuria has joined Re/Max Platinum Realty as a broker-associate in the Lakewood Ranch office. He has five years of local real estate experience, specializing in residential resales and new construction.

DeFuria is a 20-year Florida resident with strengths in sales, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and business. He is a retired registered professional engineer and former president of Tekworks Inc., in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

DeFuria received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Real estate agent Leidy Briceno has joined Wagner Realty’s First Street Sarasota office and will be providing real estate services with a focus in the Sarasota County area.

Briceno is from Caracas, Venezuela, and spent more than 15 years working in journalism.

In 2016, she moved to the United States and obtained a real estate license.  After living in the Chicago area, she moved to Florida and became actively involved with investment properties and remodeling.

Since she is fluent in Spanish, Briceno will be available to assist Wagner Realty clients who do not speak English.

Kwiat

Adam Kwiat has joined Re/Max Platinum Realty as a real estate agent in the downtown Sarasota office.

He has eight years of local real estate experience, working with clients in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties. With a strong knowledge of the area, he helps buyers, particularly first-time buyers, navigate the real estate transaction process as easily and quickly as possible.

Prior to his real estate career, he was an intelligence analyst with a small defense contractor in Buffalo, New York.

Kwiat has a bachelor’s degree in international politics, with a minor in Mandarin Chinese, from the University of Buffalo.
