REAL ESTATE PEOPLE: Re/Max Alliance associate becomes Certified Waterfront Specialist

Jordan Chancey, a broker-associate with Re/Max Alliance Group in Bradenton, has earned the Certified Waterfront Specialist designation from the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee.

Chancey is well versed in the many considerations of waterfront properties, including permitting and legalities, water depths and bridge heights, environmental considerations, insurance and water use rights.

He joined the Bradenton office of Re/Max Alliance Group in 2017 and quickly earned the Rising Star Award. Chancey, who has 15 years of real estate experience, has been named a “Realtor to Watch Under 40” by RASM and its Young Professional Network.

In addition to the CWS, he has earned Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Distressed Property Expert, Accredited Commercial Professional, Seniors Real Estate Specialist and Certified Professional Property Manager designations.

Patrice Ivan, property manager and real estate agent, has joined Wagner Realty’s First Street Sarasota office.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, specializing in Geography: Urban and Planning and Regional Development and a Master’s in Education Certification from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut.

In 2000, Ivan moved to Florida, where she became a customer liaison for new construction in Manatee and Sarasota County.

In 2007, she was the assistant project manager for general contractor Thomason Stevens, who worked with Robert Hatfield Developers and the city of Bradenton on the Riverwalk Project.

For the past 14 years, she has specialized in property management, specifically short- and long-term leasing within the luxury market in Sarasota and surrounding areas. ­

Real estate agent Valerie Mallia has joined Re/Max Alliance Group as a member of Lisa Zambuto’s Alpha Team in the Venice office.

Mallia has extensive customer service experience in a variety of fields, including corporate travel management, hospitality and health care.

Born in Manhattan and raised in Rockland County, New York, she attended the University of South Florida, in Tampa.
