The Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee installed 2023 officers and directors and recognized nine award winners at its Installation and Awards Banquet on Dec. 8.

Incoming President Brian Tresidder, strategic growth and sales manager at William Raveis Real Estate, will lead the association in 2023.Tresidder’s primary commitment is to best serve the members who help to fulfill the dream of homeownership in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The association’s strategic goal is to focus on core initiatives that make the association, its members and the community thrive.The newly installed officers, in addition to Tresidder, are President-Elect Tony Barrett, Barrett Realty, Inc.; Vice President Debi Reynolds, Florida SunCoast Real Estate; and Treasurer David Crawford, Catalist Realty. The directors serving in 2023 are Nathan Butrum, Pam Charron, Brandy Coffey, Ken Hoskinson, Anita Lambert, Marcia McLaughlin, Julia Montei, Mary Northrup, Brian Partie and Derek Patti, and Tony Veldkamp as the immediate past president.Nine members were also recognized for their contributions and achievements in 2022. Rachel McCoy, of Florida Suncoast Real Estate, was recently installed as the 2023 president of the Women’s Council of Realtors Manatee in a ceremony held at Key Royale Golf Club, in Holmes Beach.

The Women’s Council is a nationwide community of over 12,000 real estate professionals who include many of the best and brightest in the business. The backbone of the council is its network of more than 250 local and state networks in nearly 40 states with volunteer managers trained to position their groups as a business resource in their Realtor communities.

McCoy will serve a one-year term as president and will be responsible for leadership and direction for the network and keeping her team focused on the mission of the council and representing Women’s Council throughout the community.

Ian Black Real Estate, a commercial real estate brokerage firm in Sarasota, has promoted Tracy Page to office manager. In this position, Page will play an integral role in supporting the firm’s sales and property management teams.

Page was previously assistant property manager at the firm. She’s been with Ian Black Real Estate since 2012.

Page will also provide office management support services and assist with accounts payable, onboarding employees and day-to-day brokerage and management needs.

Broker-associate Anne Thomas has joined the Sarasota office of Re/Max Alliance Group as team leader for the Anne Thomas Group.

A 17-year resident of the area, she has extensive market knowledge, strong negotiation skills and 32 years of real estate expertise, last serving with Re/Max Tropical Sands on Siesta Key.

Thomas is a consistent top producer, earning numerous awards, including the Re/Max Platinum Club Team Award for 2021, the Re/Max Hall of Fame Award for 2013, and the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award from 2007 to 2022.

Her commitment to professionalism is reflected in her numerous designations, including Certified Residential Specialist, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification and the Real Estate Owned bank-owned properties certification (REO).

Thomas has a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Washington in Seattle and attended a master’s degree program at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington.

Before becoming a real estate agent, she was a loan closer in the commercial and private banking industry.
