TAUNTON — A brand new house in a brand new subdivision in Taunton, not far from I-495, sold for more than $600,000 recently.

The new development is on a new road, Crystal Lane, off Prospect Hill Street, just south of the Colonial Estates community.

On Feb. 28, a three-bedroom, three-bath, 2,100-square-foot new colonial on that road sold for $660,000, according to real estate and mortgage data company The Warren Group.

The home's features include a second-floor laundry room, two walk-in closets in the master bedroom, a "big and gorgeous tile shower in the master," and double sink vanities in both full bathrooms, according to the home's description in Zillow.com. The home was listed by Realty Executives Metro South.

Two months prior, a similarly sized home in that same subdivision sold for $630,110. Another home in that subdivision sold in late 2020, for $579,900.

The top-selling residential property in all of Greater Taunton for the week of Feb. 22-28 was in Raynham, where a new 2,100-square-foot colonial sold for $725,000 on Feb. 24.
