A California company has purchased 10 residential rental properties in Stark County, according to the latest real estate filings with the Stark County Auditor's Office.

Riya Investments Inc., which lists a Friant, California, address on county paperwork, bought nine properties in Canton and one in Massillon from JJ Canton Rentals LLC for $660,000.

The Canton properties are located at: 1001 17th St. NW, 1109 Hoover Place NW, 1225 10th St. NW, 1307 Woodland Ave. NW, 1336 Woodland Ave. NW, 1536 Woodland Ave. NW, 1604 Yale Ave. NW, 1705 40th St. NW, and 3214 9th St. SW. The Massillon property is at 517 8th St. SW.

The 17th Street property is an apartment complex, while the others are one- and two-family homes.
