Real ID Deadline For Air Travel Delayed Again To 2023

The date by which air travelers will need a Real ID or passport to fly in the United States has been pushed back again due to the coronavirus pandemic.

- To have even more time to get your Real ID. Today the Department of Homeland Security pushed the deadline back again, now to May of 2023. After that, Real IDs will be required to fly domestically without a passport or to enter a federal building.
