  • Reba McEntire is working on a new project, and recently took to Instagram to post a snippet of herself in the studio hard at work.

  • Fans were quick to wonder what she could be working on, and flooded the comments with excited responses.

Reba McEntire is doing everything she can to make her fans happy lately. First, fans learned about her relationship with Rex Linn, then, she had a cameo as a gorgeous mermaid in Barb & Star Go to Vista Del Mar. Now, she’s working on a surprise musical project and fans can hardly contain their excitement.

“Been in the studio working on something fun this week!!!” she captioned the clip of her singing, telling fans to stay tuned in the meantime.

While it’s unclear exactly what Reba is working on, she hashtagged the video #CantEvenGetTheBlues, prompting fans everywhere to wonder if she’s re-releasing her 2002 hit or, better yet, if there’s an upcoming album on the horizon. Either way, fans are just glad to hear Reba singing.

“NO WAY,” one Instagram user wrote, while another added “Oh my goodness, you have made my heart smile!!! I can't wait! ❤❤❤”

Another fan chimed in with the spirited "LOVING IT!!! The “OLDIES” BRING EM ON 🤗🤩CANNOT WAIT❣️❣️🤗🙏🏼💜💐💜💚🤩😍"

And fans were not the only ones to take notice. A few of Reba's celeb pals also joined the fun!

“Hey! Did you take singing lessons since we did Karaoke together…? Cause you’ve really improved!” Reba’s Young Sheldon co-star, Annie Potts wrote.

“The lady is ALWAYS on pitch. I love you @reba” fellow country icon Trisha Yearwood chimed in.

As the comments keep trickling in, we must wait. Until she makes her official announcement, here’s hoping it’s something big.
