Live music is back! Country legend Reba McEntire announced she is opening up a restaurant and live music venue in Oklahoma. This past weekend, Reba posted a video from a recent concert in Durant, Oklahoma where she was joined by Chief Gary Batton of the Choctaw Nation to announce the upcoming event space.

Reba explained during the show how excited she is for the opening of "Reba's Place," which is predicted to take place sometime around September 2022. "We're thrilled to pieces because it's going to be right in downtown Atoka," she said. "It's going to be called Reba's Place and it's going to be in the old Masonic building. Y'all know where that is if you've been to Atoka."

The venue is being created in partnership with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the city of Atoka. The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest federally recognized tribe in the United States, and the second largest reservation in the area after the Navajo. The venue itself is a restored 100-year-old bar.

Reba's Place will include two stories of dining space and a central stage to host live music performances. Along with a bar to serve beer, wine, and cocktails, the food menu will be inspired by places like Nashville, New Orleans, and Mexico. The menu features dishes like a “fancy” steak dinner, street tacos, chicken-fried steak, and Reba’s personal favorite, pinto beans and corn bread, according to the website.
