Rebecca Hall Leads The Charge In New ‘Godzilla x Kong’ Trailer

King Kong and Godzilla are forging a team of titans in the new trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

The trailer shows actress and Passing writer/director Rebecca Hall leading the way as she, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens and Kaylee Hottle discover a new terror that could put the world in peril. It’s only up to a legendary team-up of Kong and Godzilla to fend off the new foe and save the world.

According to the official description:

The epic battle continues! Legendary Pictures’ cinematic Monsterverse follows up the explosive showdown of “Godzilla vs. Kong” with an all-new adventure that pits the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence—and our own. “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” delves further into the histories of these Titans and their origins, as well as the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

The film also stars Alex Ferns and Fala Chen. Adam Wingard directs from a screenplay by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett and Jeremy Slater, with story by Rossio, Wingard and Barrett and based on teh character Godzilla owned and created by TOHO Co., Ltd.

Mary Parent, Alex Garcia Eric Mcleod, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Brian Rogers produce with Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira executive producing.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire comes to theaters and IMAX April 12, 2024.
