Recent earthquakes may not be predictors of larger quakes, experts say

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit the San Jose area Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. This quake comes after a series of quakes were reported in the Tahoe region since the end of April. Robert de Groot, who works at the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Science Center said while large-scale earthquakes will likely happen, again, they’re tough to predict. See more in the video above.
