Recently opened Tallahassee Zaxby's features chain's 'new prototype design'

A double-lane, covered drive-thru and farmhouse-style exterior are two features of Tallahassee's newest Zaxby's, located at 5048 Crawfordville Road.

The fast food chicken restaurant opened for dine-in and drive-thru on Dec. 19.

The 3,287 square-foot restaurant will feature Zaxby’s "new prototype design" andwill have indoor seating available for up to 55 guests, according to a release from Zaxby's.

Location owner Danny DeMersseman has been a Zaxby’s franchisee for 23 years and owns and operates 9 locations in North Florida and South Georgia, per the release. "The new restaurant will provide up to 60 new employment opportunities to the Tallahassee community," he said in the release.

There are now eight Zaxby's in the Tallahassee area. Locations and hours can be found on the company's website at https://www.zaxbys.com/locations.
