Reception for new ABAC president rescheduled

Aug. 6—TIFTON — A reception for the campus and the community to honor Tracy Brundage, the new president of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday in Tift Hall at ABAC.

Brundage became the 11th president in the history of ABAC on Aug. 1. She began her presidency in her Tifton home because of COVID protocols.

"My energy level continues to climb, and I am excited about being on the campus in person," Brundage said. "The start of the fall semester is just around the corner, and that's always a special day, particularly for the incoming freshmen."

Brundage arrives at ABAC after a successful career at Keystone (Pa.) College, where she served as president for four years as well as provost and vice president for academic affairs for one year.

Fall semester classes begin at ABAC on Aug. 15.
