Record-Setting Blizzard Conditions Lash Saskatchewan Capital

A snow squall brought fast-moving blizzard conditions to Regina, Saskatchewan, on the night of January 13 to 14, the ECCC reported.

Regina set a January wind speed record, reaching peak gusts of 78 mph (126 kilometers per hour), according to local media.
