Record Store Day 2022: Everything you need to know about releases, events and more

Music lovers, get ready. Record Store Day is Saturday, April 23.

After two years of subdued celebrations due the pandemic, record stores across Cincinnati are getting ready to mark the annual holiday with concerts, special releases, deals and more.

What is Record Store Day?

According to recordstoreday.com, the first Record Store Day was observed in 2008 as a way for music lovers and independent record stores to celebrate record store culture across the country and internationally. Today, Record Store Day is celebrated at participating stores on every continent except Antarctica.
