The Recruit season 2 announces new cast addition

Netflix has announced a new casting update for The Recruit season two.
The spy-action drama starring Noah Centineo as a newly-hired CIA lawyer debuted in late 2022, and was renewed for another season less than a month after its premiere, in January 2023.
In an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Netflix revealed that the upcoming second season has added some exciting additional casting for round two – Past Lives star Teo Yoo.
"Tell your heart that Teo Yoo is joining the upcoming season of The Recruit," the post read.

Continuing, they teased a bit more information surrounding the new character, writing that: "Yoo joins Noah Centineo as a highly skilled South Korean NIS agent with a subversive sense of humor – willing to go to any lengths to protect those he cares about."
No further casting has been announced for season two of The Recruit yet.
Yoo's recent credits include the award-winning, critically acclaimed Past Lives, in which he stars as Hae Sung.
The romantic drama charts the relationship between Sung and his childhood friend Nora (Greta Lee) over more than two decades.

The Recruit's first season ended on a classic cliffhanger for audiences, with Centino's Max awakening while strapped to a chair in a dingy room.
Shortly after coming to, Max's rude awakening gets ruder after a woman called Karolina enters the room and shoots Max in the chest. However, given that season two is still called The Recruit, audiences can assume that Max lives.
What remains to be seen is how he survives – and whether Yoo's NIS agent has anything to do with it.
The Recruit is available to stream on Netflix.
