The Palm Beach Post, your resident tour guide, has mapped out where a handful of local recruits have been spending their summer breaks.

Area summer visits
Brock Anderson, Boca Raton, LB, 2023
Thanks to a near-perfect 1450 SAT score and 4.83 GPA, Anderson nabbed camp invitations from a host of Ivy Leagues, including Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Brown, Harvard, and UPenn.
Anderson visited Northwestern last week and plans to make his way up north in the days following a backyard playdate with Florida Atlantic on June 18, hoping to return to Palm Beach with his first offer after concluding his summer tour at Dartmouth on July 9.
Collin Bender, Boca Raton, WR, 2023
What Bender lacks in size, he makes up for in hops and speed, running a 4.5 40-yard dash. He showed it off competing for more than 80 universities in a camp at Mercer in early June.

Justin Bostic, Palm Beach Central, FS/CB, 2023
In March, the three-star made a southern swing when visiting South Carolina State, South Carolina, North Carolina Central, North Carolina A&T, and Tennessee State. April and May saw Bostic make two trips to FAMU.
Bostic returned to North Carolina to start off his summer, attending camp at Wake Forest on June 3, coming back to Tallahassee to compete at Florida State on June 5, and paused his travels following a trip to Western Kentucky last weekend.

Chauncey Bowens, Benjamin, RB, 2024
A breakout season proved Bowens the steamroller of the Bucs' run game and the four-star began taking visits to Florida and Florida State in January. In April, Bowens returned to Florida a second time and checked off every Power 5 program in the state with a visit to Miami.
Bowens' summer began with a team trip to University of South Florida, bleeding into this past weekend with a solo trip to see Louisville's facilities, and his most recent stop in Bloomington for a visit with Indiana

Brand Campbell, Palm Beach Gardens, QB, 2023
Campbell collected over 220 all-purpose yards and a touchdown to lead Gardens to wins over some of South Florida's elite in Miami-Killian and Coconut Creek, foreshadowing a camp season of smooth sailing and deep throws.
Early June saw Campbell compete at Mercer and Florida State, but the pocket passer's improving accuracy and efficiency in a scramble reaped rewards during a visit to the Marine Merchant Academy last weekend.

Alex Carrizzo, Spanish River, DE/DT, 2023
Already brushing up on his skill in a camp visit to Central Florida, a little more time in the weight room could transform the 6-2, 225 pound Carrizzo into a sought after late pick up for colleges.
Caleb Chamberlin, Palm Beach Gardens, S, 2024
A silent Chamberlin on social media signifies one of Gardens' top defenders hard at work. After tackling his first series of camps in the Lone Star state – Texas, Southern Methodist, and Houston – South Carolina is next on the list. Chamberlin anticipates visits to the Citadel, Furman, Wofford, and Charleston Southern.
Adequately statured at 6-foot-1 with an even more sizable 3.89 GPA, the rising junior plans to finish his summer with a scholarship and sessions at Dartmouth, Yale, and Brown.
Waden Charles, Somerset Academy-Canyons, ATH, 2025
Charles started turning heads last season as a force for the Cougars offensively and defensively, his five interceptions for 82 yards ranking ninth amongst all freshman in the nation, playing considerably fewer games than the majority of those preceding him.
Flashy plays while competing at Florida International over the weekend gave just a taste of what the 6-3 powerhouse will bring to the field in 2022.

Sebastien Christian, Seminole Ridge, RB/WR, 2023
Offseason training seems to be helping Christian reach new speeds and he showed it with quick cleats in his first summer camp performance at Florida State last weekend.

Jacob Cosby-Mosley, Benjamin, SS/QB/ATH, 2024
Cosby-Mosley contributed another one of the spring's most dominant performances, highlighted by two fumble recoveries for touchdown in the Bucs' 40-0 blank of Clewiston. The then-offer-less recruit used the energy as a catalyst for a scholarship-worthy performance at University of South Florida last week.

Tavales Curry, Glades Central, OL/DL, 2023
A 6-1, 284 pound Curry got good work in at camp in Miami last weekend and anticipated keeping it going into his upcoming visits at FAU on June 15 and 18, competing at FIU in between on the 17th.
Shaborne Demps, Glades Central, WR, 2023
Demps has carried the wheels that allow for his 10.7-second time in the 100m while competing in track. He exhibited that speed in his travels to Mississippi State and Florida State.
Up next, Demps will take an official visit to Purdue.

Curtis Douglas, Santaluces, ATH, 2023
Palm Beach County didn't see much of Douglas in his junior year at Park Vista. Since transferring to Santaluces, college recruiters have noticed the 6-foot, 200 pound playmaker, who recently attended camps at Mercer and Georgia State the first week of June.

Jacorris Foreman, Pahokee, OLB/SS, 2023
One-on-one reps went well for Foreman while visiting DII UIndy-Greyhound over the weekend. Still, Foreman shows gleams of DI talent and will likely receive more recognition in 2022 when picking up tackles for exiting seniors from Pahokee's defensive line.

Denairius Gray, Somerset Academy-Canyons, WR/DB, 2026
Already standing at 6-feet, the long-armed incoming freshman has yet to play a down of high school football, but his highlights from camps at Florida International and Florida Atlantic hint that he may have a Twitter feed graffitied with offer announcements come fall.
DeeJay Holmes, Pahokee, DE, 2023
The Post's Defensive Player of the Year for 2022 started the summer with an official visit to Pitt on June and another when stopping by Central Florida last week.
Holmes has yet to schedule another trip for the break – just practices and sessions on the field to hone in on his craft before embarkhis final season of preps.

A summer growth spurt provided Jackson a lengthy, 6-3 body with its same firm, fast foundation at foot, making Jackson one of the 2023 classes' hidden gems, as seen when flexing in corner and safety drills at Florida State over the weekend.

Ty Jackson, Seminole Ridge, LB, 2025
After leading his defense with 117 tackles as a freshman, it's only appropriate that Jackson would keep the grind going through summer, exhibiting his talents in camps at Florida State and Central Florida in hopes of starting his sophomore year with an offer on his resume.
Jay'Vier Johnson, Benjamin, WR, 2024
The Atlantic transplant hit the ground running alongside new teammates in a 7-on-7 at South Florida. Still on the lighter side, Wheaties could whittle the 6-4 Johnson into the Power 5 prospect that Benjamin is becoming known for.

In a team loaded with juniors and seniors, LaVassaur still managed over six starts and has been preparing to shift into a regular lead role by competing in June camps at Michigan and Michigan State,
Chase Malamala, Benjamin, OL, 2024
The 6-6, 310 pound boulder only saw action in six games last season, but had enough film – and size, of course – to warrant invitations to camps at Georgia and Florida State earlier this month.

"Air Mays"' recruitment process will be coming full circle as he takes an official visit to Wake Forest – the school that made him one of he most highly-touted recruits of the 2023 class – on June 17.
Last weekend, the Post's Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year for 2022's official visit to Iowa State included facility tours for football, as well as his second sport.

Montgomery is fresh off the Maryland scene and has already made a name for himself in the few days he's lived in South Florida, posting an alpha performance in 7-on-7 action at Miami over the weekend with plans to preview his talent to locals at Florida Atlantic on June 18.

With the transfer of Tovani Mizell to Dematha in Maryland, one of the stars of Newman's secondary looks to be expanding his toolbox this summer with more reps at receiver after completing drills at the position during this month's camps at Miami and Florida Atlantic.

Vinkevus Pierre, Cardinal Newman, DB/WR/RB, 2023
Pierre can gain yards on offense, yet his dominance is exerted in the backfield. Pierre is sizable, strong, and speedy, three traits he let shine at Miami last Saturday and plans to exhibit at Florida Atlantic on Wednesday.

Will Prichard, Santaluces, QB, 2023
On June 3, the three-star competed at Mercer, but the following day, Prichard found "better than heaven" upon arrival to Georgia Southern. Since, Prichard made a visit to Florida Atlantic and has already returned to the Statesboro campus. This Saturday, Prichard will take the field at Arkansas State.

Tyler Reis, Park Vista, DB, 2023
Reis attended his first camp at Florida State last week after appearing in just seven games in 2021.
With the exit of Leonard Weaver III hemorrhaging Vista's once-loaded defensive line, the lacrosse midfielder will be a key element to the Cobras efforts in the fall.
Bobby Smith Jr., Boynton Beach, ATH, 2024
A chain mover on offense and confidence shaker in the trenches, Smith's 10.3-average yards per carry granted him more than first downs when showcasing his skills at Georgia Southern.

It's been quite the offseason for Sweeting, who went from earning his first DI offer in February to having 17 as of Sunday. One of Benjamin's most dynamic players displayed his skillset in official visits to UNC-Charlotte on June 10 and Temple on June 15.

Albeit on the smaller side at 5-10, the jack of all trades out of prospects flying under-the-radar consistently good numbers in every position he plays, including wide receiver, corner, kicker, punter, and returner.
Tucker most recently displayed his versatility earlier this month in camp at the University of Texas.
Jake Weinberg, American Heritage-Delray, K, 2024
Considering the success of now-Cincinnati Bengals special teams postseason savior Evan McPherson, the Swamp was a fitting second stop for Weinberg, ranked a five-star and the No. 2 kicker in the nation by Kohl's.
Weinberg kicked off June by showcasing his talents at Miami.

Amaree Williams, Benjamin, DE/TE/WR, 2025
It's no surprise Williams' first June visit was to Kentucky, the former stomping grounds of his father, ex-NFL running back Moe Williams. The high-production 6-5, 200 pounder most recently showed out in competition at USF.
