Red Bank Catholic's Justine Pissott selected for McDonald's All-American Game

For the second straight season, the Shore Conference has a McDonald's All-American roster representative.

Red Bank Catholic senior Justine Pissott was named Tuesday to the 2022 McDonald's All-American Game. Pissott is the only player from New Jersey out of 24 picked for the game.

A Tennessee commit, Pissott is averaging nearly 20 points this season as she has led the Caseys to a 14-1 start to the season. She is the program's all-time leader in three-pointers made and eclipsed 1,000 career points earlier this season.

Pissott's selection comes one year after Manchester Township's Destiny Adams was picked for the 2021 team. Adams is currently a freshman at North Carolina.

Pissott is the fourth player in Shore Conference history to make the final cut since the first game was held in 2002. Before Adams made it last year, Manasquan sisters Michaela and Marina Mabrey both played in the game.

She was one of five players from the Shore Conference nominated this year. Those considered included her sister, Georgia, from Toms River North, teammate Ally Carman, St. John Vianney's Madison St. Rose and Manasquan's Mary Donnelly.

Manasquan's Ben Roy was also nominated for the boys' team.
