Red Cross urges people to donate; Donors to receive e-gift card, chance to win Florida trip

The American Red Cross is looking for people of all blood types to donate blood this month.

Anyone who donates blood beginning on February 15 through February 28 will receive a $10 Amazon gift card, the release said.

Those who donate also have the chance to win a trip for two to Clearwater Beach, Florida.

Red Cross will be holding the following donation events across the Miami Valley through February:

Montgomery

  • Dayton: Feb. 28, from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Red Cross’s Dayton Office, 370 W First Street

  • Kettering: Feb. 27, from 12:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., at the American Legion Kettering-Post 598, 5700 Kentshire Dr.

Greene

  • Beavercreek: Feb. 24, from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Fairfield Commons Mall, 2727 Fairfield Commons

  • Beavercreek: Feb. 27, from 1:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Be Hope Church, 1850 North Fairfield Road

  • Wilberforce: Feb. 28, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Central State Univ Student Center, 1400 Brush Row Road

  • Xenia: Feb. 26 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Xenia Church of Christ, 444 Country Club Drive

  • Urbana: Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Champaign Family YMCA, 191 Community Dr.

Logan

  • Belle Center: Feb. 20 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Belle Center United Methodist Church, 101 S. Center St.
