Not that long ago, if you wanted Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits, you had to actually go to Red Lobster. Nowadays, the options are more plentiful. If you only trust the Red Lobster chefs, you can order delivery; or if you are confident in your culinary skills, you can use Red Lobster's official Cheddar Bay Biscuit mixes to bake them yourself at home.

But what if you fall somewhere in between? Like, you can use an oven but you sure as heck don't want to get any mixing bowls dirty? Finally, Red Lobster has you covered. Today, the seafood chain has launched frozen, ready-to-bake Cheddar Bay Biscuits, currently available exclusively at Walmart stores.

The brand says that these new frozen biscuits "go from box to baking sheet to table in less than 30 minutes — no mixing or prep work required." In fact, beyond preheating your oven to 350 degrees and cooking the premade biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 25 to 30 minutes, the only work Red Lobster suggests you do is to brush the finished biscuits with melted butter that you mix with an enclosed garlic herb seasoning packet.

Or you can skip that part. I won't judge. Red Lobster probably won't either since they insist that you can now enjoy Cheddar Bay Biscuits "morning, noon or midnight." You can't encourage someone to bake their own Cheddar Bay Biscuits at midnight and then quibble if they don't brush them with garlic butter.

The frozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits join an already robust lineup of bake-at-home Red Lobster biscuit options which, beyond the traditional mix, also includes Gluten-Free Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix and Rosemary Garlic Parmesan Mix all of which are available at stores nationwide.

And of course, Red Lobster also adds that guests "are always invited to enjoy fresh, never-frozen Cheddar Bay Biscuits by visiting their local Red Lobster restaurant or ordering them To Go." Because sometimes you just have to take a long look in the mirror and admit you don't even feel like turning on the oven.
