The Texas Tech soccer team will play its last regular-season home match Thursday when the Red Raiders take on Baylor in Big 12 play. The start time is 7 p.m. at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

Tech will honor midfielder Charlotte Teeter and defender Sierra Jones, both fifth-year seniors, before the match. Teeter is a full-time starter who has two goals this season, both game winners, and an assist. Jones has made five starts on the Red Raiders' back line.

Tech (8-3-5, 4-1-2) has won four matches in a row and is fighting TCU (9-2-4, 4-0-2) for second place in the Big 12. Both have 14 points and are right behind No. 23 Texas (11-1-3, 5-0-1).

Baylor (4-8-2, 2-4) has lost six of its past eight.

Tech forward Ashleigh Williams has six goals in the past four matches. The sophomore from Allen was named the Big 12 offensive player of the week after she scored all the Red Raiders' goals last week in a 1-0 victory at Kansas State and a 2-1 triumph at Kansas.

Tech goalkeeper Madison White leads the Big 12 in shutouts with seven and in goals-against average at 0.668. The senior from Dallas Bishop Lynch ranked fourth in Tech’s career goals against record (0.89), third in career shutouts (24) and sixth in career saves (186).

Baylor's top weapons are Reneta Vargas, who has 10 points on five goals, and Ashley Merrill, who has 10 points on four goals and two assists.
