- Red Rocks has its first concert of 2021 lined up this week, and you can pay for it with pocket change. Tickets for the Red Rocks 8 O'clock Howl this Wednesday only cost $0.80. That's the price of a show back in 1941, all to celebrate the kickoff of their 80th season. The concert lineup includes the Emerald City Bagpipers, gospel and jazz musicians, and the Longmont High School drumline.

There will also be a special 8 o'clock howl. You remember doing this, right? Well, it was led by a Denver couple who sparked this global trend. It happened near the beginning of the pandemic. They started howling at 8 o'clock each night to symbolically thank frontline workers and let off some steam.
