Red-Tailed Hawk Chicks Hatch

A nesting red-tailed hawk welcomed two baby chicks atop her water tower perch over the city of Clovis, California, the local police department said on Thursday, April 6.

The first two eggs from the hawk’s nest hatched on Wednesday, giving the baby birds their first glimpse from the Old Town Clovis Water tower, Clovis Police Department wrote on their Facebook page.

CCTV showed the attentive mother and two fuzzy babies nestling in sun.
