Reeves Foundation awarded grants to 58 local nonprofit organizations in 2023
DOVER − The Reeves Foundation awarded $1,589,438 to 58 local nonprofit organizations in 2023.
Local nonprofits that address the needs of the community are encouraged to contact the foundation at its Dover office for grant application information by email at office@reevesfound.org or by calling 330-364-4660.Requests of all sizes are considered, but organizations must be 501(c)(3) certified. The foundation board meets bimonthly to consider grant requests.
The Reeves Foundation was founded in 1966 by businessman Samuel J. Reeves Jr. with funding in part from his two sisters, Helen and Jane, and wife, Margaret. The 2023 grants bring the total awarded by the foundation since inception to $42,530,563, according to a news release.
The nonprofit organizations and their 2023 grants are as follows:
