Reggie Bullock starts Knicks game with wrong number on back of jersey

It’s been a difficult night for the Knicks in the uniform department. First, Reggie Bullock started the game with a jersey that had No. 25 (the correct number) on the front and No. 23 (Mitchell Robinson’s number) on the back. Robinson and Bullock were both wearing No. 23 on the court at the same time.

Bullock had to switch out the jersey after the officials noticed halfway through the first quarter:

Bullock left the game for Alec Burks; he returned at the start of the second quarter.

Then whoever designed the erroneous jerseys had to listen to the team’s own announcer and style legend clown them. “I’ve thrown away better,” Clyde Frazier said of the jerseys that read “City Never Sleeps” on the front. He certainly has.
