Repeat recipient of Player of the Year honors. ... Scored 50 goals and had 16 assists to lead Crusaders to back-to-back District 2 Class 1A titles for first time. ... Two-time all-state selection set school record with 160 career goals, ranking fourth in Pennsylvania all-time, and had 44 career assists. Helped Holy Cross to first PIAA tournament victory. ... Four-time Lackawanna League first-team all-star, three-time All-Region selection.

MAYNOR CASTRO-LEMUS, Dunmore, Senior

Hungry scorer whose 35 goals and 12 assists were key to Dunmore's first District 2 title. Two-time All-Region player showed ability to make big plays. Scored 50 goals in two years.

ZACH EVANS, North Pocono, Sophomore

Scored in 11 of 14 Division I games for first-team laurels. Set record by sophomore scoring 20 goals, just the second player in North Pocono history to hit that milestone.

First-team all-star was Lackawanna Division 3 Player of the Year. Two-time All-Region pick scored 23 goals with 8 assists, and his 64 career goals are a school record.

KOHEN STILES, Abington Heights, Junior

First team all-star led Lackawanna Division I with his 25 goals. Also indeed three assists. Scored game-winning goal in 2-1 win over Wilkes-Barre in District 2 Class 4A championship game.

ELIOT BOWEN, North Pocono, Sophomore

Gifted with skill and superb field vision, first-team all-star scored 14 goals and had 16 assists. Only player in Division 1 with 10+ goals and assists in league play.

TOMMY CLARK, Dunmore, Sophomore

Third in Lackawanna Division 2 with 26 goals and 18 assists. Game awareness and presence on the field led Bucks to their first District 2 championship. Second All-Region selection.

Lackawanna Division I first-team selection scored five goals and had six assists and had primary role dribbling and crossing from the flanks, but contributed to defensive stats as well.

Lackawanna Division I first-team all-star and MVP scored 12 goals and had 11 assists. ... Soccer's version of a two-way player, was a major contributor to team's offensive and defensive success.

Fourth-time Division 2 first-teamer had deft touch that led to 20 assists and 21 goals this season. Two-time All-Region pick accounted for 60 goals and 65 career assists.

Lackawanna Division I first-team all-star anchored defense that allowed a league-best 5 goals and posted 10 shutouts in 14 league games. Passing skills helped build attack from back.

Repeat All-Region pick made opponents' top attackers look pedestrian. Led young, revamped defense that posted eight regular-season shutouts and reach the District 2 Class 3A game.

Three-time Lackawanna Division II all-star used his combination of athleticism and solid positioning to make saves from the routine to the acrobatic. Key cog in team's back-to-back District 2 titles.

COACH OF THE YEAR

FRANK DYSKA, Abington Heights

Guided the Comets to Lackawanna I title and the division's first undefeated season since 2005. Team also won District 2 Class 4A championship and allowed just five goals in 14 league games.
